Our Aftercare Promise – Free for 6 Months

  • Unlimited optometrist appointments (subject to fair use as determined by the optometrist).
  • Unlimited surgeon appointments – usually not necessary (subject to fair use as determined by the surgeon).
  • Optometrist-led aftercare, including:
  • Routine eye health checks
  • Post-surgery eye checks
  • PCO (Posterior Capsule Opacification) checks
  • Visual acuity assessments
  • Monitoring your progress
  • All necessary drops and medications for 6 months, including (where required):
  • Steroidal drops
  • Anti-inflammatory drops
  • Antibiotic drops
  • Lubricating drops
  • Any other standard drops as prescribed by your optometrist or surgeon.
  • YAG Capsulotomy within 6 months:
    In some cases, debris may form on the lens we place in your eye after surgery. A quick laser procedure can be done to remove this and restore clear vision.
  • Free Laser Enhancement for Optimised Vision (If Required)

    If needed, laser eye surgery to optimise your visual outcome will be provided within 6 months. This is rare, as over 95% of patients achieve satisfactory results without further enhancement. The decision for further treatment will be made by our surgeon or optometrist based on your post-operative vision.

I am two weeks post operation and I have had no eye health problems. The operation and advice afterwards has been excellent. The eye operation was over in the space of half an hour and my sight has improved each day. The only side effect of the multi focus has been halos around lights which has been bad with car headlights and street lights. This is improving and anti glare yellow lens glasses when driving helps reduce the haloing. I hope my brain adjusts to eventually ignore this in the future as I believe it can take several months to get used to this. Other than this I am very happy with the procedure and have recommended several friends to use Transform and Mr Desai.

Mr Aasheet Desai (the surgeon), what a nice man he explained everything to me after the surgery and it was over so quickly. I had no pain afterwards I just had a bit of discomfort it was like I had an eye lash in my eye. You pay lots of money to get your car on the road but when it comes to yourself you say no. In my eyes lol! My eye surgery is worth every penny. It gave me so much more confidence now because I can see brilliantly. The only downfall is I can see all my wrinkles now lol!!

FAQ

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER I HAVE LASER EYE SURGERY?
The most common laser eye surgery LASIK after this you will need a lift to get home, you will typically rest your eyes or sleep for a couple of hours afterwards, you will be provided with goggles to sleep in for a week, but typically your vision will return to 20/20 the day after your procedure. There will be a period of pain and discomfort managed by pain killers only and this will typically last for a couple of hours to a couple of days. Your optometrist may clear you to drive the day after your procedure.
You will typically use drops for around 7 days after your surgery these are anti-inflammatory antibiotic and lubricating drops. These lubricating drops can be commonly prescribed for a period of months after surgery.
This can be anywhere between 2 hrs to 2 days but longer for patients experiencing dryness symptoms or for those patients having a LASEK procedure.
Some patient experience 20/20 vision the same day with most achieving full visual recovery within the first 7 days. This is delayed for LASEK patients.
Potentially, most patients who are over 30 years of age never need a further procedure, however a small number of all patients require a revision – top up procedure also called an enhancement to get the fully desired visual outcome this is typically less than 5% of patients.
